​Evaluations typically last 4-8 hours. The evaluation begins with Dr. King meeting with the patient and family/friends to gather background information. The remainder of the evaluation consists of various pencil-and-paper, as well as computerized tests of various cognitive domains. A lunch break will be provided. Domains to be assessed can include:

  • Intellectual Functioning
  • Academic/Achievement Functioning
  • Learning/Memory
  • Executive Funtioning
  • Attention
  • Language
  • Visuo-Spatial
  • Sensory Perceptual and Motor
  • Symptom Validity
  • Emotional Functioning


After the testing is completed, Dr. King scores the results and prepares a written report. Reports are provided to the patient and to the referral source. Patients are invited to meet with Dr. King for a one hour feedback session to review the results and discuss the recommendations. Results can also be discussed at length with the referral source. Our goal is to provide clear and  concise results so that your neurocognitive functioning is understood and treated appropriately.
